About The Organizer

Abrons Arts Center is a home for contemporary interdisciplinary arts in Manhattan’s Lower East Side neighborhood. A core program of the Henry Street Settlement, Abrons believes that access to the arts is essential to a free and healthy society. Through performance presentations, exhibitions, education programs, and residencies, Abrons mobilizes communities with the transformative power of art.

Sound, Sun, Pleasure is presented as part of the Young World III Pre-Show Series, a dynamic lineup of concerts curated by MIKE that will culminate in Young World III, an arts festival hosted by MIKE and SummerStage at Herbert Von King Park in Summer 2023. Young World I was first presented by Abrons Arts Center in 2019.

Founded in 2012, the Good Company is a retail space and Lower East Side community staple known for its streetwear apparel and collaborations with both local and national brands, musicians, illustrators, and other creatives.

Established in memory of legendary skateboarder Harold Hunter, the Harold Hunter Foundation (HHF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, community-based organization headquartered in New York City. Our fundamental goal is to provide a network of support, opportunity, and advocacy for NYC youth so they can reach their full potential as skateboarders and young adults.
